Free eBooks
While Amazon sells eBooks for the Kindle they also have a page that lists free eBooks for the Kindle. Some are promotional copies of books and others are out of copyright books. The free eBooks page at Amazon also has links to the major free eBook sites on the web like Project Gutenberg and Open Library. These sites have free eBooks in formats for other eBook readers like the Sony one and Apple’s iPad. The page is a convenient place to start when looking for free eBooks. Most of the books published when I was a kid are out of copyright and available through these links.
